Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Renal Support D Morsels In Gravy Canned Cat Food

My cat is around five years old (got him from a shelter 6 months ago), and has the very beginnings of kidney disease. My vet recommended any of the Royal Canin renal support foods. JoeJoe (the cat) loves all of the flavors, but this is the dry food we settled on. (He eats wet food as well.) Honestly, he begs for this food like my dog begged for table scraps. After just one month on this food, his bloodwork went back to almost normal. It is rather expensive, but I do what I need to for my babby.

Royal Canin has announced the launch of brand new RENAL SUPPORT diets designed for cats and dogs diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease. The new RENAL SUPPORT line offers a wide range of great tasting aromatic profiles and tempting textures to ensure superior palatability so every cat and dog can find just the right food.My elderly cat was diagnosed with renal issues during a recent wellness visit. The vet recommended Royal Canin Renal Support, and I bought a kit with several different flavors of wet and a small bag of dry food. Within 12 hours of the first meal my cat started puking and pooping all over. The poop was green and extremely smelly. Poor kitty was sick all night. By morning she was clearly uncomfortable but at least drinking water. I threw away all remaining food including unopened cans so no one else's cat suffers like this from this food. 12 hours later back on her old food she's eating well, drinking water and while still a bit fragile. She is much better, no puke or poop all over. After reading other reviews I am convinced that I made a bad decision by trying this food and I'm posting to warn others. Photos of the bag with numbers are attached. To make a long story short, once Aurora began eating the Royal Canin Renal LP diet, she began steadily improving. Her ability to attain better health seems to be limitless. Over the last 4 months, I have watched with amazement as Aurora has gained weight and is up to nearly the same weight she had been prior to her chronic kidney disease onset, hovering at about 9.5 pounds. Her kidney values have improved so much that she is actually down to getting fluid therapy only once per week. For a cat who was literally on death’s door, the change that the Royal Canin cat food has brought about is remarkable. What s so valuable about Royal Canin Veterinarian Diet Feline Renal Support T Morsels in Gravy Canned Cat Food?
