Coming to them late in life, and only recently calling Brisbane home (sort of!), I've been very impressed with the CityCat Ferries.
Every time I've used them, they've been on time. OR I've just rocked up, confident that one will be along shortly.
The staff are also very friendly, cheery and chatty.
A great way to get a short way when the road option would take miles and ages, a scenic trip, and very reasonable price.
This is an all day tour, we meet at our cabin at 8:30am

2 days ago - CityCat Ferry: Catch this Cat
Absolutely the best cat boarding and grooming facility in Portland. Bar none. My two Maine Coons are always groomed beautifully and on the two occasions that we've boarded them with Cat in the City (once for three weeks) they haven't wanted to leave. These guys are the greatest. Excellent service and prices and it's obvious that they really care about their work and the cats they care for.

Prices can vary widely even in the same city. Also, when discussing prices, be sure to ask whether there are any other charges or fees in addition to the price of the spay/neuter. For example, sometimes a clinic will require that a cat receive a rabies vaccination if he has not already had one. (Rabies vaccinations are required by law in many areas of the U.S.)Such a relaxing way to view Brisbane River, and the Qld capital. Wonder around South Bank Parklands in the afternoon, jump on the city cat and head towards the suburb of Hamilton, and perhaps jump off at one of the numerous stops along the way for a bite to eat/a wander around and or a drink. Return in the previous direction you came, this time to see the sunset, as well as the city lights come alive. This time heading to the Qld University. Perhaps to finish off the loop, it may be worth visiting the Regatta Hotel at Toowong prior to disembarking in the city or at SouthBank Parklands. Something for everyone of all ages/budgets..
