Taste of the Wild Cat Food - Natural Dry Cat Food - 1800PetMeds

I have a neutered male long hair cat that is a very fussy eater. He typically will eat a dry cat food for a couple weeks and then he will suddenly stop eating it. Repeated attempts to feed him met with no success. Once I tried Taste of the Wild he loved it from Day-1. He can’t wait to eat his food and he keeps it down without any vomiting. I have also noticed his coat looks better since feeding him Taste of the Wild. I really appreciate the “Grain Free” formula and the all natural quality ingredients. My boy has been eating Taste of the Wild- “Rocky Mountain Formula” for about ten months now and I am very satisfied.

Taste of the Wild cat food is now included in the ongoing pet food recall.

Taste of the Wild is NOT a Solid Gold product. It is also NOT owned by Diamond Pet Foods. It IS manufactured in some of their facilities. There was a cat food recall for a FEW of the cat food brands that they manufactured at ONE of their facilities. NONE of those brands included Taste of the Wild. Please…let’s keep our facts straight. Thanks!

I live in Newfoundland and i buy the taste of the wild at my local pet food store , the pet store i go to is locally owned , I used to have my cat on the Chicken soup brand , and found he would throw that up all the time I switched now he never throws up , b ut that may not be a good thing either , because now he wants to eat grass and i think he May now have an intestional problem going on. so now i have to go to the vet with him

oh, i thought that totw has higher carbs than the others cat food.

Just purchased a bag of Taste of the Wild Salmon in May 2017 from same local food store been buying it from for 4 yrs. My Labrador became ill immediately upon first feeding. He could not defecate, straining and either nothing came out or just slimy bits. He did not defecate for 36-48 hours, very odd as he usually goes 3-4 times in that timeframe. I fed him rice instead for 2 days and he is now defecating again. Stool is a very pale color. Liver problem/damage??? Kidneys too?! THANKFULLY I READ THIS REPORT BY CONSUMERS before feeding him TOTW again! Taste of the Wild needs to be RECALLED ASAP! It is causing great harm to our pets!!! The food is going back to the store ASAP and I will file a complaint to Taste of the Wild ASAP!received a 5-star rating from the Pet Products Review, and it's well-deserved, considering it is nourishing and 'biologically appropriate.' Orijen, which comes in dry formulas that can be served wet or dry, includes a variety of protein choices for cats kittens. It has a 75 percent protein content to a 25 percent fruit and vegetable content. In terms of high quality proteins, we are talking about things like real eggs, free range antibiotic free chicken and fresh wild caught fish. It is also grain free. Customers say that their pickiest of cats love this brand; the only negative comments are about the higher price of it as compared to some other cat foods. Clearly, the higher quality ingredients require the higher price tag. Orijen does not make a canned diet for cats. (See reviews and buy .)
