Oh crap!. Now I do not know what to think about Blue Buffalo. You know as a responsible pet owner, you try to research and buy what you consider the best for your babies and then you find out some of the ramifications as listed in the posts here. My cats never liked can food — they will lick all the juice off of it and then walk away. Even albacore tuna – they just lick the juice and leave the fish (not a bad thing really when you consider the possible mercury contained therein). Over the years, as I have tried to educate myself on the safest best food. My one cat, Leto, has a sensitive stomach, so I fed all of my cats (5 total) the sensitive cat food (Purina Smart) – in the past 6 months I have continued to use the Purina Smart brand but switched between the turkey sensitive and salmon/tuna — all of which they all liked with no problem. I wanted to get away from cat food with any “by-products” so I tried Wellness and more recently Blue Buffalo for sensitive — they would not touch the Wellness but all seem to like the Blue Buffalo. What to do — continue feeding them what seemed to be a better product (Blue Buffalo) or go back to my old regime with the by-products?????

My cat has sensitive stomach and throws up a lot due to hair balls and this cat food has stopped her from throwing up. My cat's hair is also shinier and healthier looking. I like that Blue Buffalo does not have by-products and it is small bite sizes that are easier chewed by cats.
