The Gift-a-Pet Certificate allows you to pay the adoption fee of a cat or kitten for the giftee of your choice. The fee is $125.00 for kittens up to four months, $75.00 for cats aged 4 months to 3 years, and FREE for cats over three years of age. The recipient of the certificate may then come to our Adoption Center and, contingent on approval, select a cat or kitten to take home.

All of our cats and kittens live in foster homes until they are adopted. Patrons adopting working cats must complete our standard adoption application and meet with one of our adoption counselors, just like every potential adopter. Our counselors determine what type of working cat best suits the patron, and then we determine if we have a cat that would be a good match for that patron.

We require adopters to ensure that all working cats have warm shelter, adequate food and water, and that they receive regular veterinary care—just as with any cat we adopt out from our shelters.
